Who doesn't love to pretend they're riding a couple of lions?!
I was VERY excited to have Tabitha at the zoo and get to see her various reactions to the animals...she did not disappoint!
Flamingos are just cool looking! Their colors are so vibrant and...yeah, they're just cool!
The American Black Bear was pacing back and forth and was very annoyed with the birds that were hanging around. He even took a few swipes with his paw at them! Tabitha thought the bear was great! "Beeeeaar! Beeeaaar!" *as she waved for it to come to her*
The great Grizzly Bear...resting its head on a rock. Tabitha was beckoning this one closer too.
She has quite a ways to grow before her paw is as big as a Grizzly Bear's!
And they got to "ride" a Komodo Dragon statue too!
These black squirrels were all over the place! As you can see with how close Casey and Mckayla got, they're also not very shy. Tabitha was having a blast chasing these guys around when she would see them.
I love the birds that are all so colorful. San Antonio Zoo is renowned for their birds.
The girls and the hippos! Casey and I were amused with the sign that said it's ok for kids to climb on the hippos, but be careful because they get HOT in the sun! Haha.
I am fascinated by hippopotamus'. I love this picture! Me and my girls.
The hippos were being lazy when we were there, but at least they were right up by the glass so we got a great look at them and watched the fish swimming all around too.
This African Crocodile had some serious teeth! They're just amazing looking--definitely a "don't mess with me" type of animal.
I told the girls that this is the closest they'd EVER get to a real crocodile...and live. Just the thickness of the glass between them and it. Sooooo cool!!! We sat and watched the crocs for quite awhile.
Tabitha was pretty fascinated too...and no doubt that crocodile thought she looked pretty tasty!
A little baby elephant statue...and how cute is Tabitha holding its tail!?! Don't know why she did, but made for a super cute picture!
So my cats aren't too far off of what wild Cheetah's do...laying around, basking in the sunlight.
The Rhinoceros is just a fierce looking creature! So tank and armor like!
The Laurie exhibit is a favorite of ours, a very upclose and personal experience with these brightly colored beautiful birds!
The most magestic looking bird on the planet! The American Bald Eagle!
Mckayla is pretending to be a Giant Tortoise.
It was a great day at the zoo! I was glad to share it with my family.

How fun! We miss the zoo. The girls are getting so big. I also love the picture with Tabitha holding the elephants tail!
